ICR Touch Kitchen Display Software

A customer's menu choice can be displayed on a screen in the kitchen, eliminating the need for paper and print-outs.

When waiting staff take an order, Touch Kitchen receives information directly from the touch screen till system or hand-held ordering device. Touch Kitchen displays food orders on a screen so chefs don't have to wait on the order being brought to the kitchen and they can start food preparation immediately.   The graphics mimic a conventional paper order or print-out, but with the Touch Kitchen EPoS software system there is greater flexibility and mistakes are much less likely to occur.

Orders can be shelved between courses or cleared altogether when the meal is finished. Information is clear and legible. Orders can't be misplaced and they can be recalled even after they've been cleared. Edit food orders by crossing out completed dishes.

Android Based POS: V-R7100

casio V R7100 cash registerThe V-R7000 and V-R7100 are Andoid™ based POS terminals highlighted by a 15.6” wide touch screen in a thin ergonomically designed cabinet and pedestal. The V-R7000 and V-R7100 utilize Android™ software version 4.2 (jelly bean). Similar to the V-R100, the V-R7000/7100 POS terminals are designed without a fan, hard disk drive or any movable components to ensure efficient store operations by eliminating common hardware problems experienced with PC based hardware.

These new terminals are open platform POS terminals that will run 3rd party Android™ based software applications. Additional applications available on the V-R7000/7100 include grocery/convenience store, pizza, concession stand, hospitality and apparel store. Casio provides a software development kit (SDK) to POS software companies in order to facilitate their software running on these new models. 

Unlike the V-R100, the V-R7000/7100 will not be embedded with the Casio POS application. The Casio application designed for hospitality and retail applications will be offered as a minimal priced option. The Casio application offers features such as multiple menu screens, price levels, graphical icons on menu keys, modifier windows, fire messages (both fixed & on the fly), kitchen printer interface, electronic payment interface, operator detailed sales tracking and extensive TCP/IP communications locally and remotely.

The V-R7000/7100 also come with extensive hardware offerings that include; three (3) serial ports (and an optional external expansion box that provides additional COM ports), multiple USB ports, LAN port, HDMI port, two (2) cash drawer ports and two (2) SD Card slots that provide resellers and developers flexibility for peripheral connectivity.

The V-R7100 has two (2) additional hardware features; wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth communications to create an aesthetic install by eliminating cabling and allowing the V-R7100 to be installed in areas without wired LAN’s.

Both models are also equipped with a battery to protect memory data in the event of a power failure. Once the power returns the V-R7000/7100 it will go directly to the screen at the time of the failure without the loss of transaction data.

The QT-6600 flash ROM touch POS terminal offers flexible connectivity, stable system integrity, easy operation, speed and efficiency for your hospitality or retail needs. The 15” touch screen and a built-in 2-line alpha/numeric customer display encompassed in a solidly built cabinet design generating the impression of a high end PC/POS terminal but without inherent hard drive and operating system problems. The QT-6600’s built-in software is designed with fast food, table service, cafeteria and retail scanning in mind. A variety of operational features are available that include floating guest checks, sharing printers, time & attendance, mix & match discounting, a large scanning file, time and date activated operations (price shifting or automated reporting), graphical split check and integrated credit/debit gift card functionality to name a few.

The QT-6600 offer many features found in PC based by at a significantly lower price such as he 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port that provides fast reliable communications between machines, PC and/or high speed Internet connection.  There are six (6) serial ports providing customers flexibility in peripheral connectivity to accommodate demanding operations.  Remote locations can communicate back to a central office using an Internet to poll report data or send program data to stores.   The built-in FTP functionality provides a quick simple method to obtain store level sales information through the QT-6600 scheduler function by a time/day or date sensitive file which will send automatically to a central PC.  Graphical icons can be assigned to keys providing operators an easy way to identify items.  A large scanning file with the ability to scan price encoded bar codes, interface to scales, age verification functionality, food stamps, a customer charge file and EBT interface add up to a well rounded retail terminal.  In addition to all these features extensive reporting is available to provide management extensive information.

Casio SE-S400

The SE-S400 is combining style with functionality. The SE-S400 10-line LCD provides the operator a reference for the current transaction to eliminate errors. Up to five (5) items, the transaction subtotal and the price of last item entered are all displayed for the operators review. The SE-S400 also boasts a 2X20 pop-up customer confirmation display with the last items name, price and the transaction subtotal.

The SE-S400 offers a raised keyboard with 25 department keys that can be preset priced or open to enter prices manually allowing retailers to categorize their entry inputs. A scanner can be connected to one of the two (2) serial ports allowing up to 3,000 items to be scanned. The SE-C400 single (1) station thermal printer can be used as either a customer receipt printer or as a journal printer.

An optional electronic payment device can be connected to the machine allowing the store owner to integrate credit, debit and gift card transactions. The integrated payment device will decrease the time it takes to finalize a transaction and the close out process at the end of the day.
